I initially studied Textile Design at Leeds University before going on to study Landscape Architecture at Edinburgh College of Art/Edinburgh University where I achieved my masters in 2014.

Whilst in my final years of study I began to lay the foundations for establishing myself as a textile designer. I started a blog and began to work on getting my designs known across Edinburgh and beyond; I attended local arts markets, exhibited in galleries and sold my work in selected shops across the UK. Post graduation, I continued my freelance practice from my studio at Edinburgh Contemporary Crafts where I was awarded a place on their Graduate Scheme.

In January 2016 I moved to London to commence my role as Print Designer and Head of Textiles for Dame Zandra Rhodes. This position allowed me to expand my skill set and to work on some truly unique projects. Most notable of which was the print collaboration with Valentino for their S/S ‘17 collection.

In the summer of 2017 I made a happy return to freelancing, where I continue to develop commercial projects as well as private commissions. I'm fortunate to list M&S, Eyefix, Bruuns Bazzar and Anthropologie among my past and present clients .
